Dr. Sears graduated cum laude from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine from the general dental program. He attended the University of California, San Francisco, for his orthodontic education, where he was selected as Chief Resident.
Dr. Sears has published his research in peer-reviewed orthodontic journals and has been awarded the prestigious Thomas Graber Research Award by the American Association of Orthodontists.

Invisalign requires adherence to the recommended guidelines to function properly. The trays should be worn for 20-22 hours per day during treatment. If patients don’t wear the aligners enough, it can disrupt progress and prolong treatment time.
Invisalign, like braces, can correct mild to severe tooth misalignment and bite issues. A free consultation with Dr. Sears and Dr. Donovan at Coppe + Sears in Lexington will let us determine your eligibility for Invisalign treatment, but most cases can be treated either with braces or Invisalign.
